Alverno Moodle

Alverno College is excited to officially introduce D2L Brightspace as the new Learning Management System (LMS) for our community.  Brightspace will be replacing both Strut and Moodle, providing a unified platform for teaching and learning for all Alverno students.  This transition, led by an interdisciplinary team of both faculty and campus technology professionals, will expand learning capabilities and deliver engaging experiences using modern teaching and learning technologies widely adopted by other colleges and universities.  This change is a result of student feedback and Alverno’s commitment to continually improving the educational experience. 

All courses are expected to use Brightspace beginning this Fall 2025 semester. 

Note: Moodle will continue to be available for reference through 2025 and into late Spring 2026. Official shutdown dates will be announced once the transition is finalized. 

The update to Moodle 4.1 has now completed today, 8/21/2024 at 5:00AM US Central Time. If you are seeing this page, you are most likely logged in as a Guest user. Please navigate to the upper right corner of your browser window and click on "Log in". You should be taken directly to your Moodle dashboard if you are logged into your email already; otherwise you will be taken to the SSO (Single Sign On) screen where you can log in to Alverno's network as normal.
